PSMI measures price movement across the 100 most actively traded graded Pokémon cards using a liquidity-weighted methodology.

The Pokémon Secondary Market Index (PSMI) measures price movement across the 100 most actively traded graded Pokémon cards over a rolling 30-day period.

Universe

PSMI includes graded Pokémon cards meeting minimum liquidity requirements.

Selection Criteria

• Ranked by trailing 30-day dollar volume
• Top 100 eligible cards selected monthly
• Must have recorded sales within the trailing 30-day period

Weighting

Constituents are weighted by trailing 30-day dollar volume and normalized to sum to 100%.

Base Level

Each monthly rebalance sets a base index level of 100.

Daily Calculation

Price Ratio = (7-day average price) ÷ (30-day baseline price)

PSMI = 100 × Σ (Weight × Price Ratio)

PSMI rebalances monthly using updated 30-day volume rankings.
